I don't see why people think you have to have a bmx bike to do tricks. That's like saying you have to have an s-chassis to drift.... You don't... If you have ever riden a fixed gear of your own you will fall in love. I don't give a fuck if you talk shit about fixed gear but I love fixed and I love bmx. Its just fixed is a whole lot more fun.

I have a fixed gear bike, and a bmx bike, and have been riding bikes for longer than I can remember, It just pisses me off when kids get a fixed gear bike and take the brakes off but can't actually ride a bike at all, it takes some bike control to actually be able to safely ride a fixed gear bike with no brakes, bike control that the average art student from risd does not have, and I just thnk its stupid to do tricks on a track bike, you have to be going like 2 miles per hour to do them, and it just doesn't look fun at all

hahahah ohh I guess I missed your whole spiel then. hahah I read it wrong i guess. Its not difficult to ride unless you don't have toe clips.

but no you dont have to be going two miles an hour. But the trick scene hasn't evolved onto trails and shit yet. There are plenty of people doing 360's down 7 stairs and doing handrails. You must have not seen many good video's.

i've noticed that people don't **** on fixies, people **** on fixie riders. they tend to be douches who think they're better and more hardcore because they don't have brakes.

i don't get the whole fixed gear craze, but I won't **** on the bikes (too much) until I ride one. until i do ride one, i'll stick to my 21 speed road bike
