Dont need a T3/T4 Hybrid. Best Would Be A TBB T28 turbo. More for Street use. I think at least. I used a T28 off of my old 240sx in my E30.

We used V2. Its very easy to use plus you have an option of custom tuning to your location.
You basicaly marry it to the car when you upload a tune from access port into a car. This way it prevents you from using it on more than one car at a time.
Access port is good, but if you dont have a need for custom tune then you can go with another brand that'll do the same and save yourself few $$$.

So I could buy a used unit and be able to upload a tune into my car, or do I need to buy another license?

the person needs to make sure that he uninstalled the tune from his car before it can be used again.

Person who you're buying it fromn has to make sure he uninstalls the tune off of his car back onto the tuner. If he sends you a tuner with his car still being tuned with access port it becomes useless for you.
