I figured
For low quantity runs you should look at rapid prototyping and chroming. I did this for some centercaps I designed (no the chroming part, but the building), worked great, not the toughest part ever, but it was more mechanical than a stick on emblem. It had snap in features, etc.

yeah, snap in for a set of vintage MiM 1900s I had for the E21 back in the day. I did the design from a photo I found of the original centercap (NLA).Dude... My nissan has like a v8, man.
