is there some place i could get the valving/dampening customized to help with the ride quality at all with the new spring rates?
i don't know which kind of damper FF2 uses but i don't think they are re valvable. Call them up, maybe they do what BC does and has like a race valving set up and you send them in and they swap out the inserts.
Yeah, a lot of that is in the dampers valving. 2k out of spec isnt bad though, you will mostly feel it in dips where you'll get a quick bounce. put em on full stiff and bang out.
Lol at just wildly ordering springs with no regard to the physics of your suspension.
i talked to the manufacturer prior to ordering them and they said that those rates should work fine for me. they said its a little higher rates then they recommend going, but said they can handle it
Yeah, on full stiff in theory they should accommodate the highest rate they offer which is 12k. so 2k out if spec isnt gonna kill you, the 16k will hahaha.
I actually can't remember, I might've put the perches back in (spun all the way down though) because I threw on a 12mm spacer to push them out more.

yeah thats what i was thinking ha, i knew i could go a little over but i didn't wanna go too much over so i thought i'd be safe with 14k

I don't know whats up with us down here in socal but it's a lot more common for people to roll up to meet with their front lips just dragging on the floor.
Lips flipping under and sucking under our cars is common lol.
