There is nothing wrong with balancing off the centerbore. That's how we do all our wheels at work and we never have issues.

DRW are lug-centric wheels that must be balanced off the lugs with a lug adapter instead of the cone on the balancing machines. IF you use a cone it will wobble and you'll have to add 20+ oz of weight. I used to do wheels/tires a few years back but never came across a lug centric wheel. We def didnt have a lug adapter though, and neither does any shop around here.
