It's astounding how much I smile when I head my skid plate grind into the road.

Last night, coming home from dinner, my girlfriend and I took my car separate from her parents. While they were behind us, I hit an expansion joint going over the highway and laid some serious sparks. When we got back, her mom and stepdad were in awe that I kept driving.

Ah, those stories.

What I really like is when I have given people rides and it's especially chicks that will comment on the shitty ride quality, trying to whisper to each other like I'm not sitting right in front of them.

God I know that feeling. I picked up a girl once in my winter car because I knew it would ride better, the next date she wanted to take my car. The date we took my Prelude to was a 45 minute drive of gritting my teeth and apologizing. Thank god my current girlfriend just smiles and laughs with me.
