just bought the car, been driving for a good half hour, and then stepped on its tail

So they don't have to proof who drove that car? just send ticket you as you are owner of the car?

that sucks, in finland they need to be sure that "you" drove that car, example if your gf is driving and you go to police station to get that ticket they start asking who drove that car and they want to address that ticket to right person.
