Yesterday the local Ford dealer couldn't mount my tires on my wheels, so I took them to a BMW dealer this morning. They got them mounted which is great, but then wanted me to pay $160 for 30min of work, I negotiated those suckers down to one-hundo, not what I wanted to spend but it was better than $160.

LOL that blows.
What were you trying to mount (size-wise)?
Luckily my local tire guy has fun mounting abnormal tire-to-wheel sizes so he charges me 2 cans of Monster Energy Drink to do any work I want.

^^ Lucky. I was mounting 265/35/18s on a 10" wide wheel. Nothing to complicated, sidewall on tire is hard though so it didn't have much give when mounting. Ford doesn't have much experience with harder sidewalls.

Brake cleaner and a lighter, to be exact.
It's fun, dangerous AND effective!

Yeah that's pretty bad for where I live.
The local shops like 714 Tires and Driftspeed dismount, remount, and balance for $15 bucks a pop for anybody and they will do big stretches for an extra 5 bucks.
