There was a turbo F20C AE86 I saw at an event once. That thing sounded like a F1 car.

My friend has 73 starlet with F20 and his cousin has supercharged F22 in 86.
I was a passenger in his starlet when we raced E46M and it was priceless!

It just sounds all deep and grumbly. I would own one.

GM V8s have always had a harsh coffee-can tone to me, regardless of exhaust system or being straight off the headers. Ford's Modular V8s and V10 have a more bassy, mellow tone with a touch of crackle. Just right.

Hence the 6.8 V10 swap I'd like to one day finish into my Starion. They sound AMAZING when piped.

As good as an S54 sounds I'd much rather the sounds of a 1jz or 2jz.

As for V8's, Ford 302's are one of my favorites. Not to mention Kenne Bell blown 289's are pretty awesome too.

Pavel, you aren't the first ive heard not like ls exhaust notes. It's been described like just noise and those same people say that ford v8's sound much better.

What's the ford equivalent to the ls?

That Car is so technologically advanced it's crazy. Being a tech and working on a lfa must be worse than being water boarded
