I decided I was going to count calories from now on, so I downloaded an App and set my limit.
Today I didn't even eat particularly healthy, bacon and egg sammich for breakfast and a kebab for dinner with lots of tea and biscuits in-between, and I only went over my limit by 13.
Though I'm aware counting calories isnt the main part of shaping up, I'm quite happy with that.

The summer I lost 40 lbs I went from about 245 to 205. I counted calories and pretty much stayed under 2000 /day and when I needed a snack, I had a protein shake.
In 4 months my bench went from 155 max to 235 twice. I miss those days. Lift 3 days a week and do cardio 3 days a week. Cardio days I would burn an average of 600 calories. (That's what the machine said anyways. That doesn't count sit-ups, crunches, and dips.)

I work as a barmaid in a particularly unbusy pub, and the back and forth along the bar cleaning has worked wonders on my leg wobble, and they get lots of workout when I'm driving too - old clutches and brakes aren't exactly powered by the mechanisms! Its just this bloody muffin top now. :shakefist
