TXR was nothing big, but what made it bad ass was that it was highway racing in Tokyo.

There would be rivals/teams pacing the highway and you'd high beam them to run. You would race Touge style, but with no finishing point but rather a "health" meter; the further you're ahead of the rival, the faster their meter goes down.

And it was based in Japan, so all the cars/parts/wheels were legit, though gameplay wasn't a similation type.



I haven't played the Midnight Club games since #2

And NFS, haven't played that since Pro Street.
