i am looking for a car that i can get for around $4000 that would be a good car to lower and that has under 150k miles any recommendations? open to anything. the only car that i dont want is a miata, because i have bad memories with them, i dont love hondas either.

In all seriousness, there's a lot of cool stuff to find under 4k. E30's, probably some E36's, SRT4's (some), most Honda civics minus 8th gen and newer. That's just what I'm coming with now, there is plenty out there! It just depends on your tastes. Good luck.
