I got a few decent cool cop stories.

Got pulled over in the e36 for sliding out of a shopping mall. Cop pulled me over, told me I shouldn't do that, and then asked for my advice about a couple BMWs he was looking to buy, if they're reliable cars, etc.

Sideways again across a bridge late to highschool. "Ollie, I know you're late but you can't be doing that through town. Now hurry up and get to school." Let me go.

Another night I was on some back roads having some fun with the car behind me hitting 90mph+. Then all of a sudden I see lights flashing behind me. Cop walks up and asks me if I know why he pulled me over. I told "him no idea sir." He says "you went over the middle line a little bit back there when you made that left hand turn", gave me a little smirk, then wrote me a ticket for an "improper left hand turn."

I have soooooo many other stories lol. Maybe more later.

Do you have any stories where they actually gave you a ticket? Seems like the cops over there are pretty easy. Love how many times you got caught drifting!

Never once met a cool cop while being pulled

I've never met a cool cop when getting puled in a car, been caught skating and riding my bike(destruction of personal/federal property & trespassing) and have run into a few cool cops. Mountain bike cops are amazed how far you can jump a 20", and even met a few cool cops who used to ride and ask about our set ups, give us a warning and ask us politely to move along. Most times they ask us to leave, threaten us with what they COULD charge us for but just ask us to leave.

I've had my GTI('03 BMP 20th - lowered - should be a cop magnet) for a few years. Never gotten a speeding ticket in it(knock on wood). I've gotten pulled 2x in the same period driving my wife's '05 Jetta - totally stock, hubcaps and all. Her car and I don't get along apparently, and in cops eyes it's a cherry red sports car.

Got pulled this weekend going 72 in a 55. Told the asshole the truth(mistake) not my car, not used to the speedo, not used to driving an auto or the car in general. He comes back with my citation and says "I appreciate your honesty - I really do, but I'm going to give you the full citation of 72...." Didn't knock it down at all - full on dick status. Then he starts to give me "the same lecture he gives everyone...I have blue lights and can go 100 MPH..." at that point I told him to keep it to himself and rolled up my windows.

Now to get a lawyer...
