I can get an e34. I believe it's a 535i or something all I know is it is the v8 one. Guy down the street from my house has it I could probably get it for less than $1500.

Dooooo it! Or, my friend had a '94 540i. AWD, turboed. Hella fun. He bought it for 2500 on CL. ended up putting it through a wall "parking". The engine ended up in his cabin

Understood. I was fantasizing over ditching the celica for one. But apparently they are quite expensive to own. Premium gas, tires, parts, etc.
