They always go for the military story. I slip my ID under my drivers license, notify them if I have a firearm in my car, keep my hands on the wheel, etc.

Got pulled over one time going around 78 in a 40. He let me and my friend in front of me go, because at one time we were both stationed near each other (he was in the army).

Best thing to do is to be polite and follow directions. They deal with so much bullshit everyday, they don't need more.

I got pulled for speeding back when i first got my Cefiro, i was showing off for a mate and gunned it down a street i think it hit about 100-110 (60km street) when i saw the party lights in my mirror. I pulled over strait away and had enough time to get out of the car and wait by the back corner of it on the foot path. The cop got out when he got to me and said how fast were you going, and i replied, not sure wasn't looking at the speedo, i was looking at the road in front of me!?! and he said well thats fair, and then proceded to tell me to be careful next time as the car stick out like dogs balls (it was the only one in the state at the time) and then wanted to sit in it and asked about all the guages on the dash (all mechanical, and illegal as well) then said have a good day and let me go with no fine or anything.

If a cop here sees flame throwers in your tail pipe, it's an immediate impound and a one way ticket to jail. When it comes to any kind of fire, fireworks, pyrotechnics, they get down to freakin business.

When i got pulled over at sowo for laying down some serious sparks past a cop I just kept my cool and was super polite. He even got me out of the car to talk about my flame throwers. "does that blow a big flame?" "only on private property, sir" Just ended up with a $15 seat belt ticket and an altered suspension warning. It pays to be respectful.
