    Because alot of the finishes you have seen are probably people who dont do much painting or know much about applying it correctly. The rough edges can be corrected with proper masking, the blotchey finish in the hood are from making the passes too large while applying the paint giving it an uneven finish. All these things can be evenly corrected. I've seen many plastidip jobs done well. Obviously it is not the same as paint and clear, but for some people it is enough and isnt such a bad idea to protect new paint during the winter since they do no damage to the finish underneath.

    OP, job looks good. First time doing this? Not bad, could use some fine tuning but still looks good.

      Really like the idea of this (not for the E24), I'd love to do the Audi white. Looks like that has a great finish.
