Automated/ pressurized washers = my car leaking. My car only gets washed by hand.

Damn I really wish I knew of a good selfwash place near my house it would be a savior in the winter. In the summer I do all my washes at my house, and on a warm enough day in the winter (above freezing) I do my own washes. Otherwise I take it to Splash which is a local chain of handwash places, (I know I know swirls) but when I bought the car the paint wasnt that great anyway, (its getting sprayed this summer), so I don't worry to much about that right now. But once its sprayed its driveway or touchless or coinop only for me (if I can find one that is).

    Car washes=swirls
There are very little self washes here, so I just bought a Husky electric pressure cleaner. No clear coat damage.

Its awesome when I am at home because my father orders every product in the Griots's catalog and has refills like there is no tomorrow, but when I am at school I have to use the auto touchless wash at the Shell station. School sucks

If your going to do a car wash, atleast to the touchless ones where nothing but water and soap touch your car. Dont use it if your super dirty though, i usually do it between washes to just keep any light dirt off the car.. but i still wash the car by hand atleast once a week (im anal about clean/good paint) lol

always avoid anything at a public car wash that touches your car.

if your having trouble getting dirt and grime off by hand but a drive thru was is working for you, your doing something wrong

The last place you should ever take any car is an automatic car wash. Say hello to swirl marks EVERYWHERE if you do. My car hasn't fit on one of those in like 4 years haha
