I got to tell ya'll... for the most part, in my experience over the years, the car scene has been made mostly of pompous pricks who only care about letting the world know their car is the best.. it's like the tough guy in the gym.. not friendly and thinks the world revolves around him. This is the main reason I love everything about StanceWorks. It's about the people. Everyone is super positive and encouraging and wants to see everyone else's car shine. THAT is what it's all about. Cars come and go, but the people are here to stay.
So with that as the intro, Dexter from Tunerlifestyletv.com recently approached me about StanceWorks being a vendor at their upcoming event:
Tunerlifestyletv presents: Night Sessions
He was very kind and most generous in his offer, but unfortunately it would mean us having to cancel other commitments and we just couldn't get the stars to align. I kindly thanked Dexter and just let him know I appreciated his efforts in continually growing the scene.
Instead of being disappointed, this guy found a way to make the most of the situation and proceeds to post the following on his website:
I was stunned, humbled and incredibly encouraged that people like Dexter are the ones at the forefront pushing the scene in their individual communities. It's because of people like this, who are able to turn negatives into positives, that I have hope in the future of the car scene. If you guys haven't gotten the chance, please take the time to check out Tunerlifestyletv.com.
Thank you Dexter for your efforts and know that your attitude has a big impact on the people around you. Keep doing what you do my friend!
Ben
