  • I need help buying a new car :)

I have multiple options here. I would like to keep it around $10,000. Im looking for something thats on the newer side, nothing older then 2000. Would like to stay on the german side.

    First-last choices
    Audi A3
    MK5 2.0t
    MK5 Rabbit
    Mk4 GLi

Any opinions on the above? Im mainly looking for something that can be tuned easily and make some decent power. Along with easily stance-able.

my vote goes to the mk5 2.0t, look really mean when dumped and stanced.

I always had a performance thing. So I want something that I can run some real power with but still roll on bags. The audi A3 just has a soft spot for me. Power, style, kinda wagonish. It makes me week at the knees

But then the mk5 2.0t is just so damn amazing....

Either the MK5 2.0T or the A3, personally I would get the A3 (its a dream of mine), they both are really great cars and sure as hell have a great deal of potential in both the stance and performance areas. Good luck with your decision!

Any idea what year the A3 had the sunroofs in the front and rear of the roof? I found one in my budget a lil while ago, but now its gone

Mk5 2.0t would be my second choice if and only if I can't find a decent A3.

I own a mk5 GLI, and couldn't be more happy with it. VW's interpretation of active steering equals zero torques steer. The interior quality is better (believe it or not) than my mom's a3. The 2.0t is highly tuneable. It comes with HID's. The list goes on. I would say that would be a great choice off of your list.

If you would take 10K id down

After searching around, it seams like the a3 and the mk5 gti are both out of my budget Started to look at S4, found a few, but all automatics.

                            MK4 GTI/GLI.

Either of those with the 24v VR6. I love how they sound, have decent power, and are pretty reliable.

I **** 1.8T's from personal experience, so the 2.0T's naturally make me weary. That's just me though.
