windows crashed and took a bunch of files with it when it peaced out. so I had to take it all apart, and format the hdd using my desktop. ended up installing Ubuntu after several unsuccessful attempts lol

Of course Windows crashed. Shitty expensive OS. When my motherboard took a shit, Windows decided to not recognize it and said my product key was invalid. Microsoft actually wanted me to fork out over $300 for a fucking key regardless of it already running for years trouble free. Fuck that bullshit.

I figured that was gonna be the case, so I didnt look too much into finding another copy of Win7
