Got my last wheel sanded with 2000, picked up all my wetsanding stuff, and got the rears buffed with the first compound.

    The Kia has been parted.

    • Can't find the BB10 source code I need to look at the boot process

Almost 4k saved up. If I hit 7k I may go look at vehicles again.

          • Or I may just try to pay off my Audi this year that way if I do get rid of it I don't lose any money. Quite the predicament.

            • Pay off the Audi, that way you don't have any debts.

Always pay debts first before buying other things

Yeah. It would be nice to not roll any negative equity again. Though as soon as it's paid off I'll have another auto loan.

                • its ok to start another loan once the other one is paid off, not only does that give you a better credit rating it also means that if you decide to sell the Audi, you'll have some cash in your pocket

Yes and no. I'm gonna miss the shit out of it, but at the same time, if I want to move up at all, the move itself is necessary.

                      Mixed emotions and shit.

Also, COBRA coverage is $344 a month for when I quit FMU but have to wait for my W2C health insurance to kick in. Woof. Guess I just won't get sick for three months in a row. I've already proven I can dress and maintain a wound almost as well as sutures can, so hey, maybe there's hope.

(For those of you who don't know, COBRA is a continuation of your employer's health insurance coverage despite no longer working there, and is almost always extremely expensive)

By seeing your blog posts I understand how you would miss the kind of work and cars that go through at FMU.

So COBRA is kind of like private health insurance, but is paid for by the employer.

It's not paid for by the employer though; it'd be out of my pocket.

It's basically a private health insurance plan that maintains the same level of coverage as your previous employer-paid health insurance. And since most employers have solid levels of coverage (as we do), that shit gets expensive, FAST.
