hits the back of the face. big time. so he needs to figure out another set of calipers. I guess that Wilwood and OEM Q45 ones are supposed to be not as wide

My Equips were off a GTR, so they clear GTR brakes but with a tight clearance

Actually 5 of my sets are off a GTR, because I like good brake clearance

If he gets brake disks with deep hats and spaces his calipers back he can get them to clear without downgrading.

pretty sure they are O-disc, and I know those never clear big brakes cause they have the smallest backpad.

I sacrifice dish for brake clearance

My 17x8 0 BBS RSs have 2cm clearance to my Skyline 4 pots on the front. I could fit AP or Alcon calipers

Ive never used Alcon, but I know that AP calipers are pretty fucking big hahaha


I guess he did a test fit with his OEM calipers on the front, but not after the conversion. One of those small oversights that comes back to rape you later when you think everything is going smoothly

He had is OEM S14 calipers but swapped them for 300zx 4 piston.

the sway bar end links needed to be readjusted. as soon as he said that he hadn't done that since he lowered the car, I knew right away that was the cause of the sound.

and now after seeing the wheel fitting issues, our other friend is second guessing aftermarket wheels for his car so he wont run into the same hassle. cause he doesnt really care that much about wheels lol

OEM S14 calipers here are like 300zx 4 pots but cast iron

I run the R33 GTS-T 4 pots which take the 296mm disk, slightly bigger over the 300zx 280mm

I never re-adjusted my swaybar end links...

ha ha my solution is always buy wheels off a GTR, coz if they clear, anything else will clear
