Really? You've done longer than I have, but I'm hoping to stay in as long as possible. I'd really like to be an Air Force JAG officer after law school.

Here's just a general, off topic discussion. When building a truck, turbo diesel or gas turbo? There's a man down the street with a TT F150. Really intrigues me, I know nothing about trucks.

I've only been in as long as I have because I have kids, the job market sucks and because when my first enlistment was up, I didn't have any marketable skills. Plus, I **** the rigidity of the military along with picking up and moving my family every few years. I've seen and done shit and can happily say that I did my part. Frankly, I'm burned out on this shit.

Were it me, turbo diesel. That plume of black smoke when you stomp the loud pedal is just bad ass plus the power you can get from one of those is insane!

I feel you on the rigidity. That's why I have this on my door.
I stole it from a coworker, and haven't had any complaints yet.

I always wanted to be in the AF as a kid (except as a fighter pilot, until I realized I had extremely poor vision). I figured lawyer was the next best thing. Many jobs in the military aren't marketable, and that's a shame. They send you out with a GI bill after you leave, but not skills for a real world job.

Idk, everyone does diesels. There may be a good reason for this. But I can't help thinking about my fathers 2001 V10 F250 crew cab with two turbo's..
