For the gas? As in fuel mileage? Getting a 4-banger would fuck you harder than having a 6. Underpowered for that much weight will make you work that motor twice as hard.

For what it's worth, my M3 gets the same fuel mileage as my Prelude does. 26-27mpg isn't uncommon.
