How do you guys get money while at school? Need to take a student loan or have a job on the side?

I took out loans. I commuted to/from school and lived in an apartment with my at the time gf. I worked 30-40 hours a week to pay for gas and apartment shit. 6k of my school loans is from my tools though. (I took out a personal loan to pay for them. I wanted to have good tools an in my mind it was worth this. I got 12k worth of tools and only paid 6k.)

Oooh. Well seems like i can't complain. Since all our educations are free and we get paid to go to school, as long as we are over 18. Only real downside is there are so few options here, unless we move to Denmark (I live in Faroe Island, and we are under the Danish protection) were the educations also are free and we get money as well. Problem is most of my friends moved to Denmark, and it happens all the time that they don't wanna move back.

That blows. I did like 40 hours a week and then went out and got stupid fucking drunk every weekend. I remember one morning, when it was kinda slow, my boss sent me home to go back to sleep, I was still fucking plastered and smelled like a god damn liqouer cabinet.

That was a fun time in my life.
