Even $8k cars break. Hell, all cars break. You're a glutten for punishment buying cars that have been modified and have high miles, though.

If you know what to look for then any car at any point should be fine, especially provided that it was owned by someone who has meticulously cared for it, would be fine. Especially having all maintenance records.

Helendorf got pretty rowdy this year. Kids need to learn how to chill and not get hung up on the fact that some non VAG cars showed up.
