I **** how loosely the term 'rat' or 'ratty' gets thrown around. Yes, your mk1 is rusted to shit but that does not make it 'ratty.'

What was wrong the the civic?
You got the Prelude running yet?
Prelude is coming out this week, spoke to the lady whose barn I have it stored in. She said I can park my POS Accord there until we get into our house in two months.

Speaking of, Friday night, I got my younger brother's Civic back together and running with him. Coilovers are on their way here now.

It's a hell of a learning experience. Takes lots of patients and deep pockets if you want to do it right. I spent close to $2k rebuilding the motor in my Prelude, and that was without re-ringing it (like I should have).

Yes, yes it did. I wish I was there to see it in person and congratulate him.
I def have the patience and the skill set to build a motor though. As long as I have a engine building book for specs and how to piece things together, the only other thing I would need is money. lol
I'd love to eventually build and boost the motor in my Kia. Forged rods and pistons alone go for 1k a piece, so a proper engine build on this car, with tuning, would run a pretty good deal of money. It's a long term goal. lol
