The whole process of installing an OS on any computer without a CD/DVD is a pain in the ass. I don't know why they make it so difficult.

To put Windows 8 on my desktop without a CD, I had to make a Win 7 VM in OSX, turn my portable HDD into a bootable drive and then use it on the desktop.

I don't have an external that I could do that with, otherwise I would have. I thought about turning a partition on my laptop into that (on the second drive), but I didn't want to risk fucking it up and losing everything, which was a strong possibility with my luck.

It basically turned it into a bootable USB drive. Still a pain in the ass.

Long story...... But I didn't insure the car and since its my only car at the moment I cannot risk it! I help pay for a lot of bills in my household so I cannot lose my transportation to work.... That one car broke life.... Daily show cat
