Asked my boss if I could take a half day Friday and all Saturday off to go to Nashville. Unfortunately our service advisor is out the rest of the week on vacation and today was a shit show for the service department, so I don't know if I can or not.

It's been a rough couple of days for a lot of us.
I've been trying to find the words to make a post, and every time I write something out or re-read someone elses, it just makes me so fucking sad.
I hardly slept last night. I tossed and turned, literally racking my brain to remember more and more little details and nuances and things that happened when I got the chance to visit Cory.
I want to make a thread for people to post in, remembering Cory and the stories they had with them. It's easier than writing something sentimental, and it would bring me a little peace hearing stories about him I might have missed.
Thoughts?

Have been in the same boat man, all the little chats and laughs that were shared. The ability to remember as much as possible, while feeling guilt and grieving is extremely difficult.
I think starting a thread could be very helpful for the people that are still on here, as well as just making sure Katie feels the love from everywhere possible.
I hit up Cory after he'd posted up on IG about his health issues, back in April. He said he was feeling good at the time, so I told him that my girlfriend and I were going to try to see him if we took a trip to Nashville this summer. Thanks to all of the money issues I had due to changing careers, that trip never happened. Goddammit, I wish we would've gone.

It was good to see his mom and youngest brother again, hadn’t seen them since 2012 or so. Met Katie for the first time, she’s as sweet as C-Hutch was. We cried a lot.
Also witnessed some burnouts, e30 axle failure, and got the cops called on us. So, perfect Cory weekend.

While I didn't know Cory, his passing got me thinking. Have we hit that age where we all need to be checking in with each other, because from here on out, the only time we find time to get together is at funerals?
