That'll be a pain with anything older than the late 80's. The turbo 350 and 400 trans were stout, but no overdrive sucks. and the 700'r4 trans suck.

So with the squareboy trucks the 2 older transmissions were the Turbo Hydramatic 350 and 400, Turbo 350 and 400. Those were non overdrive. They were replaced by the 700r4 transmission that was overdrive. Dont know why they were called turbo. The 700r4 is hot trash. I had one in my suburban when I got it.
