While 'Getting Lucky' is a good song, I think Daft Punk is a little over hyped.

I'm listening to it now. I'm honestly a little bit dissappointed. They mixed in too much in the way of drums and guitars. not much electronic left. The only band that can pull off a DJ and band is Modestep.

They set out to prove that you can make good electronic music without sitting down at a laptop and making stuff go "wub wub wub". Go back to when Discovery and Homework came out and I think you will find that what they put out compared to where electronic was totally different. That's why this album is awesome. It flows so well from cover-to-cover and it departs from "electronic" of today to create something new. It's still electronic, and it still has "old" Daft Punk, but there's a definite departure from repeated loops of a drum machine and mixing all the music on a laptop.

It isn't. It's certainly the single, but I don't think it's the best song.

It's a departure, but sadly not the right one IMO. I think Discovery and Homework were much better. I still gonna listen to it though. I was hoping of more of the style they used in Da Funk or Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.
