I plugged the back tire on the Ducati but it still has a slow leak. Tire only has a few hundred miles left in it anyway, so whatever.

Took it out to the canyons on Saturday with some genuinely quick riders and got thoroughly embarrassed. Didn’t help that it was my first time on Angeles Crest and I was freezing my ass off the whole time.

im trying to make these tires last through the summer, and buy new set for winter if i still have the car.

watched burnout on Netflix last night. pretty good, for some mainstream cinematic motorcycle content/drama

really enjoyed/related with the KTM scene

i dont think i'll ever be a "fast" rider. i'm not technical or consistent enough to stay alive going that fast (sport bikes)

I think I’d do better on a track. There’s too many uncontrolled variables on a canyon run for me to be very comfortable with pushing it there.

The Daily Craigslist Experience:

-scour Craigs
-find cheap econobox
-google/ebay to see what stupid mods can be done
-calculate the price of parts + the lowball offer im about to shoot off
-if it is less than the fair resale value,
-shoot lowball offer
-if denied, story ends here till next car is found

-if accepted, panic
-question if really want the car or was just bored
-reassure self its a win-win situation, car is easily worth it
-start asking if theres anything wrong with it
-suspicious replies
-realize the deal was honked from the start
-lie to seller that you will get back to them after speaking to wife
-never been married
