Not literally steal but if I bought the whole carpet I bet I can get them for free.

Not trying to be criminal lmao
The junkyard gets broken into and people take things (like my goddamn front bumper) right off of/out of cars. An old guy owns it and he admittedly has no security.2 328i e36's

Get on it! It's actually a lot of fun working on things you don't have to worry about breaking as much haha. An experience for sure. If you know what to look for you can find some cool stuff. (Old trucks are a great place to find turbo's haha)2 328i e36's

i remember going to a few as a little kid with my dad and grandpa and we have a couple around here, but none of them ever have parts for cars i have, so... i may never have the pleasure.
the one time i went to our local yard for a ford taurus (dont ask) fan, they pulled it for me while i stood at the desk

Ask for a switch out of some old beater lol. Then ask if you can see the interior. They'll bring you in. As for the taurus, they made a v8 one with leather, too. Not all were crappily made. All did rust, though.2 328i e36's

Oh man, this weekend was wild. I broke my back a bazillion times, but we're moved out of the apartment and all our shit is in the house/garage at the house.
Today marks the start of the asbestos removal, which means we are all systems go when they have finished tomorrow. Bathroom is getting completely remodeled now. Before it was just a small change, now it is a big one. The woes of buying a house built in the 50's and only one owner.
The pool should be ready to use soon though, hopefully can jump in next weekend.
