  • Yeah damn right, bangin your block bro. For real? Or are you joking? My sister had a serious at accident and they had to remove a good portion of her brain for awhile. When they put it back in and woke her up she forgot everyone and everything. Took her years to bounce back, still not 100%. fucked up how much damage can really be done to the mind.

      • Same way with my sister. She was in the hospital almost a year. I don't get into personal stuff on the forums usually, but I am young (19) and my father is 70. He has dementia and honestly I have never been so heartbroken as the day I went to visit him and he couldn't remember who I was. Took him an hour to remember I was his son, couldn't get my name. It's not always like that but when it is, it literally tears you apart.

              • Yeah, it's shitty but I know now to appreciate it all that much more when he has a good day. Never take them for granted, even for a second. No I haven't, is it on Netflix?

If the meds are for anxiety/depression/ADHD they aren't working correctly. I'd be in touch with the doc.

Same job, still traveling a ton. Hoping it'll settle down soon (I've been saying this for 4 months). But we shall see.

                              • First things first, every single person/mind is different. It was a dark place I was in for a long while and what really got me out of it was meeting my girlfriend and having our son. I won't lie, some days I feel it try to creep back in but I keep busy. Try not to think about it and eventually it will be less and less relevant of a feeling. Chemical imbalances can last a lifetime, treated or otherwise. Life is never going to be easy for any of us. I just try to remember that it could be a lot worse for me, you know? A movie that hits you in the feels will be a movie you remember.
