i thought you meant there was a whole separate ring that came apart. but yeah, the CCW classics didnt have the "ring" or mounting surface machined into the face, as I would have called it
yeah i guess the weight is on the bolts, but torqued bolts hold a lot of weight, plus the weight is split among 40 bolts or whatever, so it really isnt that much.

Gotcha. Yeah I didn't figure it was a bad thing, just interesting to see different manufacturers making the same product in a different way haha. I wonder which is safer from a road hazard point of view2 328i e36's
