Yeah, I got completely off topic with my response. I don't disagree. All I'm saying is that people need to get over the fact that people will do shit to follow others, and then when they get fucked over, they will understand what a stupid mistake it was. We all also have to realize that even though there are a ton of people who are getting into BMWs now, younger kids are also becoming the new enthusiasts, some of them are here because it's hip, but a few of them will be turned into enthusiasts because of how their car treats them. If it wasn't for my first E46, I wouldn't love BMWs so much now. Sounds ridiculous but it's true.

I get where you're coming from moreso now.

It sucks to watch the masses walk in and ruin your scene. But I walked into Hondas in the midst of that, so I wasn't ever able to witness what it was like beforehand. Hell, with Honda, there probably never WAS a beforehand.

there was a beforehand with hondas, I was there. but it was the 90s, so it was pretty ricey to begin with. then the clean jdm thing happened next. and the rice got worse

Apparently I came into the 240 scene right before/slightly at the beginning of it becoming big. What's funny though is that I saw my coupe and just thought it was a cool 2 door car that looked sporty. Little did I know it would actually get me into cars.

e36 has crossed my mind. But mine will be motor swapped also an fc or fd is a thought too. I want to move up to a more complicated platform.
