I feel like I'm becoming less of a consistent car guy to a car guy that just saves money and gets to spend very little on cars and occasionally gets to hang out with cool car people.
Very much not what I used to be like where everything was cars and only cars mattered.

I'll admit that I've saved a little money with ODB on jackstands not doing anything. I suspect that will change now that the suspension is here and the wheels are being built. I sort of lost the motivation to be in the car scene the last little while, kind of hoping that moving forward with this project again will change things.

I understand that completely CJ. I have lost a lot of motivation as well. Obviously cars are still a big part of who I am, but I'm just less inclined to be spending money on them lately.

I mean, that and life has happened. Along with the trip to Australia having to be booked next week, that's going to put a big dent into anything I had planned. I'm hoping my bonus from work will give me enough cash to put into crypto, grow it a little, then pull it all out and buy a 911 motor.

I know I need to order more parts for ODB, but man the suspension on the Triumph is driving me nuts. The fork and shocks on the thing are terrible.

Hubs, camber plates, and rear upper mounts ordered for ODB. Hope to get the wheels built in the next few weeks.

Went to drive the 911 the other night, now the headlights don't work. They worked previously to dropping off at body shop, now I am just going to take it back to them to fix.

I can't be bothered dealing with it. The 915 gearbox needs some adjustment, finding first is a mission.

As I'm sitting on the throne, I've come to the sad conclusion that I won't be able to drive my Volvo hard as hell anymore as I start my build on it, like flying over speed-bumps and taking it on dirt roads pulling the E in every turn, but shit, she is gonna look good.

Any ideas of a nickname for a Volvo v40 wagon? I've been calling it ''Mazais perdelis'' which means ''Little fart'' in Latvian ever since I got it, but the car needs a name, another time when I was sitting on the can, I got the idea of ''Boris''.
