Yeah man, always always always call the cops. I hope it works out for you, but in situations such as, ESPECIALLY with a car that has an agreed value, call the cops.

you can go to the pd and file a report at the desk or online depending on the city. In CA you need to fill out an sr1(2?) form if the amount of damage is over a certain amount... if he doesn't feel like paying for the repairs your insurance will handle establishing fault and getting his insurance to cover it.

Okay, I am waiting on a quote for the damage and should receive it by end of day today.

Once I have that, I will report it online(?) potentially with the police department. As for if he doesn't feel like paying, I have to get my insurance involved to discuss with his insurance. I do have a witness so will be able to provide my insurance company with his information.

Nice. Had those on the Ducati. Should've taken them off when I sold it, oh well. I'm using the Blindsights now. They don't fold, but they're also only a 2" mirror, so they're pretty damn small.
