Spoke to a couple of shops, they recommend instead of rebuilding the 2.7l magnesium case, go for the 3.0l CS motors.
Same cost of rebuilding to get a 3.0l setup on right now. 8k-15k for rebuild of the 2.7l, 3.0l CS motors are going from 8k-10k on eBay right now.
Nice little upgrade in power as well. See what happens, but looks like when my SSN arrives, I might get on that good good American debt train for an engine.

You're not wrong, sinking 10k just for an engine swap is going to make me sad and will definitely mean less money spent elsewhere.

Worthersee is interesting thus far. No fucking clue where to go to see all the stuff that's going on though haha. Just been using instagram really to hope to try to find things.
