I'm getting close to buying a daily I think, the Porsche is running a little weird after driving it for the last week since getting it back from the workshop.

I might go over it Saturday completely myself, see if they didn't tighten something and double check things. Tempted to remove the CIS and do all the gaskets this weekend too, but I have to be able to drive it Monday. Sucks.

Sounds like you need another aircooled VW.

Take apart all the connectors and clean them. Made a world of difference in my Volvo with CIS.

There's definitely an exhaust leak and vacuum leak. I'm going to take the entire CIS system off and refresh it Saturday I think.

I just need to figure out how to be smart with my money. Do I buy a cheap as fuck car and just cruise that while I fix the Porsche or just put that money into the Porsche while making sure it is drivable every week day.

Looking online, people keep saying that the noise I'm hearing could be from a broken head stud or it has pulled itself out from the case. Eurgh, that would not be a fun time. Might have been caused from the changing of the valve covers done by the shop, unsure.

Find me a cheap car on Craigslist. Looks like it might be time to do that and put the Porsche on the back burner for a while. That sucks...
