  • Yeesh. I'd probably hold out for something less aggressive.

Maybe I'm old but I prefer wide tires and narrow wheels...

    • I've had these wheels for a year or so, just chilling in their original boxes. They're pretty much brand new never sold back in the day.

Can't really see these wheels on nothing else lol.

7j can't really get too much stretch.

        • Nah, those are too rare. MX63 Cressida, the less popular.

This. This is what I am doing on the Porsche. Nothing super aggressive.
16x7/8 with a 205/55 all around. I figure that should be plenty enough for the Porsche.

              • Was tempted to go 225/55 in the rear, but don't think there is enough room unless I add a bit of camber...

In saying that, unsure how much natural camber I will get when lowering it. Should probably lower her first before deciding on tire setup.

                • Yeah, I'm looking at tires and wheels for the truck, I should really worry about lowering it first.

And maybe upgrading from lap belts to shoulder harnesses.

                  And getting a radio.

                  And fixing the seat.

                  Goddammit.

                      • Yeah, basically.

Almost have enough money for ODB's swap. Gotta remember not to spend that on shit for my two other vehicles.

                        • Got the booster and new master cylinder on the truck but didn't have any vacuum hose, so it's still un-assisted till I can get that hooked up. Oh well. Still have to rebuild the carb, replace the belts, and switch it from a flex fan to a clutch fan too. Definitely enjoying this build more than ODB, sad to say. Hopefully getting the motor finally swapped into that car will reignite my passion for that project.
