Check the front axle for leaks, especially the "stearing ball".., they leak onto the breaks
disks which is not cool
The engines are pretty tough, but the mark their territory, exchange engines are available
in england...

Check for moisture under the floor mats, if there are any.., the firewall is steal and welded
to the chassis, if you have to do work on it you basically have to take the rest of
the body of.
Water usually gets in around the front half of the roof, and the doors.
Usually the doors have contact corrosion around the frame, because they are made
out of steal and the door skins are alloy.
Check the vents under the windscreen, they rust like hell...

The electric system was mentioned before...

Most of the parts are reprodused over here in europe...

How cheap could you get it, because if it is cheap and doesn't need a ton
of work done, buy it, hop it up and sell it for profit.
One like that (a Series III) in good shape is like 10k over here...
