Welp, car died on me again today as I was pulling into home. Had to push it into it's parking space. Replaced the alternator over the weekend, so I'm hoping it's just the battery dropping a cell or something. Fucker.

Got the alternator tested and it's not charging. Looked at the fuse box cause I noticed a burning plastic smell from the bay and the 200mA fuse for the alternator is fucked. But of course it being a VW, it's not a separate fuse that I can easily remove. I'm throwing in the towel and towing it to the dealership tomorrow so they can fuck with it. Driving ODB to work tomorrow, again. Goddammit.

Yeah, I **** not being able to fix it myself. Thought it was the alternator itself for a minute since I just put in that rebuilt unit, but seeing the melted fuse block has me thinking that's the culprit.
