I need the newer t56 magnum because it can handle like 800 wtq vs the regular t56 that can only handle like 400 wtq.
Going to put a supercharger on the 240 next year.Dude... My nissan has like a v8, man.

I'm pretty sure the regular t56 is much stronger than you give it credit for, especially 1-4th gears. The od gears are weaker, but there are guys pushing 800+ through them, and lots with 5-600.Originally posted by Dudermagee View PostI'm putting the current t56 into the cressida.

Rebuilds/parts for a regular t56 are cheaper so even if you break one you're still ahead. Also they're not that hard to tear down once you've done one.
Just don't buy tr6060, that's a magnum that's heavily downgraded from a magnum because gm penny pinching so its rated for like 500tq. lol not really an upgrade from a regular t56 and it has the synchros that **** being shifted hardnfast-Christian.
