WHAT UP CHRIS.
It's fucking awesome by the way.
Day off "today" anyway, so since it's gonna be guns blazing hot here, I'm gonna work on the Corolla this morning soon.
- Replace brake fittings in rear
- AW11 distributor swap
- Oil change
- Trans fluid change

I haven't had less than 5 since I was 18 maybe? I pretty much leave them all at my parents house too. Sucks for them.
I take them on my lunch break in the pilots lounge.

4 cylinder Japanese import is never a bad choice, not sure why anyone would knock it for an idea. You'll have so much free time because you won't have to work on it every time you drive it.

It's all in how you care for them, man. And, statistically speaking, they're dirt cheap, easy as hell to maintain, and fit perfectly into your "I need to save money but still need a car for 2 months" niche. It wouldn't be hard at all to scoop up a Civic Si, clean it up a little, then sell it for profit once you're done. It's not like they lose resale value.
Not trying to say that they're the end-all be-all, but... dude, it's common sense that your ignoring because you're too caught in up looking cool.BB6 Prelude . . E36 ///M3 . . VA WRX Limited . . 1969 Nova
