This was the early nineties model, VP Commodore



Late eighties was a good time, with the VN SS



But hands down, the best Commodore known to man, was the VL. Especially the ones released with a factory turbo RB25. Yes, a Nissan RB25.

There are some similarities, but the Mercury Tracer front end looks a lot more like the VP commodore and the shape of the Tracer looks more like a squished VK wagon.
