Don't worry, my "friday off" will consist of installing a new bathroom vanity, running some power in the garage, and cleaning out my basement.

Luckily my wife works that day so I can say I did all of those things, but realistically I'll just fuck around with the cars until 2 hours before she comes home.

They want to get some of my photos printed to hang on the wall to show customers. But the photos I want printed are "too arty" and "don't show the customer" So now they're printing moderately ok photos that show the customer.

Not cool.

Close. I just work with a bunch of fucking lazy idiots who lack common sense or the ability to think about the impact their actions have on others.

Yesterday, I had to spend a half an hour responding to a concern report, closing said report, and follow up with the EHS manager just because somebody was concerned that their workbench (which is on castors) was only 32" apart instead of the mandatory 36" apart. They took the time to find a tape measure, measure the fucking gap, fill out the report, but couldn't move the fucker 4 inches? I did it in less time than it took me to walk out there.

One better. We're down 20+ positions, and we're not getting any help this year. Why? because human resources is lazy and want to justify that their slowness is because they need more people and need promotions.
