other friend has an e46 330d

so yeah i've driven them, but that wasn't what i lol'd, nor was i judging

Yeah, that sounds familiar. I wouldn't say BMW is the best brand in the WORLD, but I will say that they make a very large quantity of cars that are highly desirable to me.

It just reminds me of people who say "OMG you own a German car, it must be so unbelievably expensive and hard to maintain!". And they drive something they overpaid for at a used car lot or something incredibly cheap that falls apart.

Drive one. Drive an E36 or an E46 and tell me that your mind doesn't change. The only time they're too "hip" is when they have a rusted body panel and a stickerbomb wink mirror.

Drove an e46 m3 non smg and it felt very numb. it did exactly what you want it to do but without excitement. It just didnt rustle my Jimmie enough to want one
