Speed is fun and all, but I'm not really that guy who fucking blasts everywhere, I'll cruise at 80 on the highway sure, but it's rare that I get over 85. I only take my car to full boost like once every couple weeks as is. I guess I've matured?

CT has a lot of great trails, and I plan on doing a lot of weekend trips up to places like VT/NH/NY, and potentially longer trips up into Canada. I'm excited for the whole new world it'll open up.
It's called growing up lol. The older you get, the less you drive like a dickhead.

Glad you guys have trails, it seems to be the last thing most people realize when building an offroad rig. There's a local guy who built one hell of a machine from an old Land Rover, he lets us toy around with some property he has to "test" his stuff.

On a serious note, I don't know what's more depressing: The total cost of parts and pieces I need to finish the H22 sitting in my basement, or the fact that I could finish the Nova for the same sum of money.

The plan for whatever truck I get will be (really think it'll be a 4th gen runner):
Lift (also encompasses necessary LCA and UCA upgrades)
Front and rear metal bumpers (front will prob get a 8000LB winch)
              Sliders and skid plates
              Wheels/Tires
Rear Swingout for spare and jerry cans
Roof light bar, ditch lights, etc (visibility is important)
              Roof basket
              Rear locker (eventually)
Add a front locker to the list. You'll get waaaaay further!

From my reading and research, front locker really isn't necessary unless you're doing some crazy hill climb/rock crawling shit.

Mostly true. If you plan on playing in the mud or snow, a front locker is a good idea.

Again though a lot of people get by without having one.

Oh of course. All depends on what you plan to do.

I know some people who have build dedicated "mud trucks" and are completely baffled as to why they get in the middle of a hole then dig to China. Obviously, this is not your type.
