My fucking dad. Forgot I didn't tell y'all this story.

Slipped on his way into the bathroom on the bath mat at 3:45 am between Saturday and Sunday. Went head-first into the lower metal rail of the glass shower door.

Broke his collarbone, got six stitches in two spots between his chin and lower lip. Closed fracture, so his arm is in a sling and immobile for 4-6 weeks, stitches come out in a few days. Can't drive, can't go to work, can't so much as fall asleep in more than one position.

Thankfully both my sister and I are still at home, so we've been picking up the slack around the house, helping both him and my mom out (since she started a second job last week, so she's not around as much at night anymore).

I picked a great week to quit my job and start a new one.
